The incredible healing power of pets
There are many stories about animals being healers. Research, infact, has shown that cats and dogs help to lower our blood pressure. Not without reason, pet therapy exists! Pets are able to bring joy and happiness to everyone, including patients admitted to hospitals, nursing homes and hospices.
There are stories of horses that helped people to heal from emotional and psychological issues; stories about cats that detected the presence of cancer cells; stories of dogs that predicted future events, such as seizures.
Research has even shown that cats, as natural healers, are excellent at perceiving energy. The energetical frequency of a cat’s purr is able to heal bones, tendons, ligaments and muscles, as well as work as a pain relief.
A cat’s purr vibrations range between 20 and 140 hertz (Hz). Frequencies between 25 and 50 Hz are the best for promoting bone strength. As a famous saying goes: “If you put a cat and a bunch of broken bones in the same room, the bones will heal.”
A study conducted by the University of Minnesota’s Stroke Institute in Minneapolis has proven that owning a cat can reduce the risk of a heart attack. This discovery is the result of a 10 year study of more than 4,000 persons. After a 10 year monitoring period, cat owners showed a 30% lower risk of death from heart attack. These people showed to have a lower heart rate, lower stress levels, and lower blood pressure.
Animals are magic creatures! Don’t try to OWN them as they were objects, but love them UNCONDITIONALLY!
